DTM Purefil Liquid Fillers

Clean & Accurate Filling on Your Line, Every Time

DTM Packaging’s Purefil Liquid Filler line combines precision, flexibility, and sanitary design to deliver consistent, high-quality in-line flow meter liquid filling performance. Designed for accuracy-driven, multi-product production lines, Purefil systems offer unmatched cleanliness, repeatability, and easy maintenance — all within a robust, ergonomic design.

Available in three configurations — the Purefil 1500, Purefil 2000, and Purefil 2500 — this series accommodates everything from small-batch runs to high-speed continuous production, ensuring every bottle, jar, or container is filled perfectly, every time.

DTM’s Purefil Liquid Filler’s sanitary design and built-in Clean-in-Place (CIP) functionality streamline cleaning between batches, minimizing downtime and reducing contamination risk.

From personal care and OTC pharmaceuticals to food, beverage, and specialty chemicals, the Purefil line represents a premium, U.S.-made solution for reliable filling operations.

How It Works

The Purefil uses flow meter-based filling technology — either Mass or Magnetic Flow Meters — to achieve exceptional accuracy, averaging ±0.25% standard deviation.

  • The Purefil 1500 operates as an indexing system — bottles advance via a servo-controlled conveyor, stop under the fill heads, and are filled simultaneously. Once complete, the filled set exits and the next group indexes in.
  • The Purefil 2000 and 2500 models feature a walking beam system, where filling heads move with the containers, allowing continuous filling without pauses. This delivers faster throughput, up to 300 bottles per minute, with no “gaps” in production.

In all models, servo-controlled nozzle bars, height adjustments, and programmable recipes ensure consistent operation and minimal setup time between product changes.

Every unit is constructed with 316L stainless steel contact parts and FDA-compliant sanitary fittings, eliminating potential contamination points across the product path.

Purefil 1500 Indexing Overflow Filler

The DTM Packaging Purefil In-line Pressure/Overflow Filler works on the principle of filling each container to a predetermined level making it ideally suited for filling transparent containers requiring a consistent fill level.

The liquid to be filled flows from the reservoir tank to the container through a pump and manifold that dispenses product to each filling head. A servo controlled nozzle bar is used to lower all heads into the containers to start the filling process. Once the fill reaches the desired fill level, excess product or foam flows back to the reservoir tank and the nozzle bar retracts and containers exit from the machine.

Purefil 1500 Indexing Flow Meter Filler

The DTM Packaging Purefil In-line Flow Meter Filler incorporates a sanitary design of the entire product path within the filler eliminating all points subject to potential contamination.

The flow meters supplied on DTM Packaging fillers guarantee very accurate measuring and do not require any special maintenance. The dosing operations are controlled by a dedicated PLC. When the preset fill value has been reached, the PLC initiates the closing of the associated filling valve and then reports the statistical values to the fill control system. The product enters the meter from the filler
supply tank and exits the meter while at the same time the mass or volume is measured. DTM Packaging pneumatic actuated fill valves control the final dosing. The product is discharged through the nozzle and then into the waiting container. The product path from the main supply entry point into the filler through the discharge of the fill valves has been designed to meet sanitary design requirements to facilitate CIP.
